I use my professional experience, education and training to help you clarify your situation, develop new skills and take action. I love thinking outside the box and helping talented and creative individuals grow and succeed. I have a deep and complex understanding of human behavior which allows me to help individuals and groups change the way they act and achieve more positive results.

I have been fortunate to hold positions that require working closely with people in critical, high stakes situations: resolving complex personal problems, finding work, changing careers, going back to school, surmounting personal obstacles and overcoming serious setbacks in their lives. I have a Masters in Social Work and BA in English.

My training and coaching approach draws on my professional background of over 12 years experience designing and facilitating trainings and workshops and 14 years working with individuals and groups. I have worked in leadership positions, program management and coordination, employee relations and training, employment and employability, organizational development, strategic planning, customer service, grant writing and as an independent consultant and trainer.

My philosophy is to help you improve your situation with care, respect and competence. My education, experience, and training assures you that you are working with an experienced professional who understands how to get results in your life. I help people get results because I have a long history of helping people transform their lives.

I draw upon many years of working with individuals, customers, families and organizations to help them address a variety of issues related to personal and professional performance. I have designed and taught classes and workshops and coached individuals and groups to deal with important issues. My specialty for many years was working with families in crisis and helping them succeed in the face of daunting odds including domestic violence, lack of economic resources, limited education, mental illness, drug dependency and legal matters. It’s been my pleasure to work with people from many socio-economic levels, backgrounds and experiences.

I enjoy helping people gain new insights and learn new, practical skills. All of my coaching and training is based on human behavior and thought processes that lead to creating change.
